Needed.  Carl Sagan sensibilities.  As we have religious death cult/s commit atrocities only to be uploaded on a social media network - to spread fear, a cold war that has already claimed hundreds of innocents caught in the crossfire and could go hot at any-point.  Economic charades based on the money print into cronyism - which will end spectacularly.  A killer virus is spread and is hard to contain due to conflict zones and 'resource' based wars in Africa.
