COVID BEATDOWN UPDATE. GETTING THERE. COVID ONGOING AFTER 7 DAYS, now abating. Still showing up with infection, which is the longest duration yet. But, in recovery. Won't miss a booster shot this year.

COVID beatdown update. Getting there. The previous 'test' (I didn't post) said I was "vulnerable"! Which I did when I had a fever, and my pinched neck and optic nerves/nervous system was on fire. Starting to realign now after 5 days.

My 3rd bout of COVID in Three years, this has been the worst. Five days and still infected, fever was brutal, but feeling better. Chest infection is almost non existent, which is not uncommon for me. But, lingering aches and pains are still there. nervous system feels better, less jarring. I Probably exasperated the illness, by assuming that I was just dehydrated (like a bad hangover), thus I exercised over the weekend, when COVID kicked in. I just didn't release it was COVID.

Worst covid beatdown i have had in years, 3rd one, and no flu. Usually covid hits my nervous system, like a jarring shock, and the pain, aches etc. Interestingly, I don't get a chest infection . Lesson, i didn't get a covid booster in 2024. I'll 100% get one in 2025.

High vaccination and herd immunity to previous infections have helped keep the death rates down. However hospitalizations are going up again in the U.S. (update 1)

Chinese COVID 'bomb' has been dropped. Estimation are at over a million cases per day, with daily death rate of 9000. The U.S., Japan and Italy have imposed COVID testing on arriving Chinese tourists, as the main variant spreading throughout China is BF.7

China's COVID wave is already ripping through the populace as Chinese authorities are now not reporting any new infections or deaths. With modeling suggesting that China's infections of an under immunized population, could lead to 2 million deaths.

The XBB variant maybe the next 'COVID' wave. No walk in the park, having personally caught the new mutation at the tail end on 2022. Australia is in for another surge after its winter Omicron infections.

New COVid strains are spreading throughout Asia and Germany. All restrictions and protocols for COVID-19 have been abandoned after Biden's "pandemic is over" remark on television. Overconfidence is a curse and we maybe about to get served another brutal reminder that the pandemic is still ongoing.

The curse of overconfidence. CDC winds back its COVID-19 guidelines prior to the Northern Hemisphere winter. Australia's hospitalizations and death rate/s (winter) should be seen as precursor of vaccine hesitancy and immunity dropping, not increasing. Poliovirus and Monkeypox is on the rise and NYC has become the epicenter. Is the CDC playing the economic populism card?

COVID out break in China sends the oil price down, closing in on the Putin 'put' at $100 a barrel. Russian default looming, won't be able to pay in U.S. Dollars only Ruble, which is almost worthless as a currency.
