A Strike on Iran by Israel imminent? Gold and oil go parabolic. Gold could hit 3000 an ounce. *Israel attacks Iran, Syria and Iraq* (update 10). gold drops, as Iran denies intrusion into its airspace and Israel has not confirmed Iran attacks.

Self explanatory chart: Gold as a doomsday hedge is likely to trade back above $1900 as Israel commits to a full scale invasion of Gaza. Eyes on Iran, Syria and Lebanon for military response.

Global stagflation was not averted, only delayed. Middle Eastern war between Palestine/iran and Israel has begun with U.S. oil stocks at all times lows and embedded inflation from 2022. Governments can't backstop energy prices forever.

Gold is rallying above its 1980 support, while the U.S. Dollar has fallen out of favor as a safe haven, probably due to the indecisiveness of rate hikes for 2023 by the Fed. China may launch a surprise attack on Taiwan earlier than official analysis have decreed. Chinese war ships remain in the Taiwan strait.

The yield curve has inverted. Markets are pricing in a recession, but not stagflation. Are Central Banks reluctant to increase rates aggressively in an effort to stabilizing stock markets? Volatility could hit hard. Eyes on, oil, NATO and Putin.
