BITCOIN will not be a safe haven on a major global conflict. U.S. and Western Europe still calling for diplomacy, even though they know the Russian invasion has started. Why delay sanctions on Russia?
While the West is sitting tight on sanctions, with its intelligence on Russia en masse invading Ukraine being correct. The French leader Emmanuel Jean-Michel Frédéric Macron playing the populist, while Putin is playing Biden off with his steadfast belief that an imminent attack on the sovereign nation is due. This ain't some Sun Zhu "Art of War" playbook here, but diplomacy, which has essentially failed , should be replaced with widespread sanctions in an effort to curb an aggressive and paranoid Russian leader. Without resorting to a prolonged armed conflict with Russia. Yet, Russia has probably already begun the its invasion, via Russian speaking separatist forces that have now mobilized against Ukrainian government forces. As the Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Oleksandrovych Zelenskyy has requested, that sanctions be placed on Russia now, not amidst a Russian attack on its major cities. Is it all about the stock market again?
Loss of life from an invasion or loss of an economy? Anyways, BITCOIN (BTC) would definitely come under pressure if the West do drop the big one, i.e. sanctions on Russian Banks and lock them out of the U.S. dollar markets. Which would send Russia into a banking crisis, thus leading to a demand for U.S. Dollars as liquidity would start to tightening dramatically. Thus, leading to a BTC crash, which in turn will drive off shore Russian monies into Gold.
Sh*t times ahead.
But, they're always been sh*t.
Stay positive.
