Damir Doma Men's Spring 2014 - Paris Fashion week.
White as a precursor and only (thankfully) in a small doses. Damir Doma's Spring 2014 collection still has that serious cut to it, strong lines with sleek urban aesthetics. In my opinion Damir Doma leans heavily, maybe consciously, to minimalist, post modern influences - with his own distinct futurist slant. There is a sharp presence to the clothing, I am seeing the similarities with Damir Dorma's 2014 Spring range and Yohji Yamamoto's very chic Neo-Tokyo/Blade Runner inspired Y-3 collection (Winter 2013), apart from the warehouse space and retro-fitted style lighting. We can see high buttoned collars, symmetrical patten designs, long/mid and short (light fabric) length jackets - in which Damir Doma keeps the option open for laying of styles, which I think is essential - especially with a minimalist styled collection.
Also, praises for using brown/gray/ blue and dull yellow color ranges (for Spring/Summer collections). And yes it also has an elegance of dystopia feel ala the shows music soundtrack and neon light installation.
