You could probably read this scene from The Devil's Advocate (1997) in various ways, street level hustling advice delivered by Al Pacino's character John Milton (Satan) to a naive up an coming slick lawyer Kevin Lomax (Keanu Reeves).  It still stands, in my opinion, an older experienced actor laying down the reality to a younger 'actor'.
