NY Fashion week Spring 2015 (ready-to-wear) 3.1 Phillip Lim

Nothing really outstanding so far from New York Fashion week (Spring 2015), same old safe plays for the Department store buyers/reps.  Apart from Phillip Lim who has taken street style look/s to craft a solid collection.  With asymmetrical cuts, re-working dull yellows, whites with dark blue and black contrasts. Mini skirts, high heals, leather jackets and rebellion.  Nice.  Especially for Spring.  Thankfully the high neck collar restrictive conservative looks are kept to a minimum.  Beautifully crafted modernist stitching work and patchwork styles, overlapped with cotton belts and accessories.
