Atrocity Exhibition (1970). J.G Ballad

I just finished the Atrocity Exhibition, yes I know, a little late in the game for a J.G Ballad classic.  But the relevance and absurdity of reality mixed together within the landscapes of human carnage and self induced destruction - lives on as an eternal manifestation.  Summed up beautifully in short narrative chapters.

I love this quote:

“In his mind World War III represents the final self-destruction and imbalance of an asymmetric world, the last suicidal spasm of the dextro-rotatory helix, DNA. The human organism is an atrocity exhibition at which he is an unwilling spectator
