Rick Owens - Paris Fashion Week 2015 (men)

Pertaining to the immaturity of a good portion of the 'fashion' press.  Rick Owens's January 2015 show has very little to do with nudity, in fact, the male models (three) revealing their penises whilst wearing smock style out fits, would be missed in a blink of an eye.  That wasn't the point of the show.
It is a construction and deconstruction of design, the master Yohji Yamamoto is also touching upon this, more so with his latest collection.  But Rick Owens with his unique modernist, futurism style is probably reaching a peak.  The deconstruction is a way of representing the beginning of the end -  to a re-birth.

A flawless collection, beautifully cut and fitted.  Tough exteriors to half naked and vulnerable.  More so the cut away fabric around the crotch area (three outfits).  It is fragility and strength, struggle and resilience.    Rick Owens Paris 2015 collection is a glimpse of his future vision, in all it's humanism and emotion.
