Books, say novels will go completely electronic eventually. Although I love magazines in physical form (not electronic) also coffee table book publications i.e art, fashion, design, photography etc.  It's safe to say that magazines and coffee table books won't go completely digital...just yet.

A classic magazine publication was Omni Magazine from the late 1970's (in start up) to it's end in 1995.   Warren Ellis (comic book writer) has, apparently he was the source, uploaded the whole Omni Magazine volume onto archive.org.  If that is the case and he did upload the complete series of Omni Magazine.  Thank you.
