'Punk's' 15 minute reboot via the Met gala fund-raiser for the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York

Nothing more tedious than apologist sensibilities from a slew of 'celebrities' last gasp career moves.  A slight plunder into the past for some inspiration is forgivable and punk solidified a sharpened version of 1960's counterculture with perfect timing.  But can it be re-done again?  No, not in the historic version.  Something new is brewing on the horizon. Guess work is open.  But in this present time and place it's tragic in a pitiful sense when you have A and B (and C, D etc) listed celebs harping on about issues that drips with hypocrisy, all the while a stifled (redux) and conformist view of creativity is thrown back to the mere mortals.  In which they reacted accordingly tearing large chunks out of the mediocrity.  And no, 'bad publicity is publicity' doesn't work, especially when the masses are restless and looking too unleash.   You'll need (if you are a celebrity or wannabe) to react against your own peers.  That would work.

Till then.
