I am not thrilled by conspiracy theorists, most, as Alan Moore (writer) said, fear chaos, fear the unpredictable, the perilous position that humanity is constantly trying to fend off.  Either by it's own self-annihilation, or by a natural event.  There is a need to assume, or believe, that a controlling element exists within human power, someone, no matter how nefarious, is in control.  That destiny is monitored and steered in the direction that it chooses.  If only that was true.
