READING: "THE UNIVERSE, SEX AND ITS ATTRIBUTION OF PARALLEL WORLDS" FROM THE NOVEL ;THE PRAXIS CONTINUUM; (A.GLASS 2018).

"Opening the fridge he takes out an already opened packet of rye bread, taking out a single piece of the dark brown bread he looks at it carefully. "Maybe they all had bad Rye..." He says to himself smiling, as he chews off a piece of the crust. Referring to the Salem Witch-hunt rials of 1692 where the mold Claviceps purpurea on Rye bread created a mass hysteria witch-hunt. "...or cocaine. Or both!" He begins to laugh as the report changes to a Space news report.

"Now there's a coincidental moment..." Opening the fridge again he stares into its mostly empty space, taking out a small container of yogurt dip, sniffing the contents. He then dips the rye bread into the thick white condiment. Looking back towards the television again at his appearance. "...I've become more gray."

"The curious case of a Universe that is missing a spiral arm, here to explain this weird discovery is Astrophysicist Dan Koso, who says that it is a dwarf Universe that has not completely merged with a larger Universe nearby..."

Suddenly his phone rings, reaching across to where his phone is sitting on his kitchen table. He places down the container of yogurt dip with the rye bread sitting on top. He lifts the phone. Seeing that the call is from his colleague Cameron Jerold.

"It has to be synchronicity," Koso says to himself, referring to a metaphysical idea that, although holds no scientific relevance, seems fitting as a metaphor. Smiling at the irony of multiple coincidences whilst looking at the screen of the cell phone.

"Hey Cameron, what's happening?"

"Hello Dan, looks like you on the news again."

"Yep, again..." Dan Koso says in a mocking expression, feigning a casual acceptance of what appears to be social popularity.

"But not much on social media though..." Jerold replies chuckling.

"You know how I feel about social media. In most cases than not, can give the impression of rushed science. Sans the blog I have and the article that I wrote regarding poorly researched reports on Extraterrestrial Terrestrial signals." Koso replies, as he sees the dollop of yogurt fall from the edge of his rye bread onto the kitchen tabletop, as it sits precariously atop of the dip container.

"Only to be refuted later by the researchers themselves who made the discoveries."

With his right index finger Koso tries to lift up the yogurt, as an attempt at reattaching the lump of cultured milk back onto the bread, it falls off his finger landing in the same spot as before. He roles his eyes. "It's a global junk news reporting trend. So how's Hawaii?"

"Well, we got something?" Jerold replies, as Koso walks to his sink lifting up a dish wipe, he then wipes up the yogurt, exhaling as he walks back towards his desk within the small apartment.

"What have you got?"

"Are you at your computer?..."

"I am..." Koso replies, loading his email program.

"...Sending through now."

And email is received with photo attachments. Koso opens all three attached images.

"...Ok, so we have another comet, slightly bigger than the ones orbiting the Sun…" Koso replies, studying the raw photographed images of a bright speck moving through Space.

"Look at the last image, we just finished mapping its trajectory three hours ago."

Koso quickly brings up the image which is an animated rendition of our Solar System with the Sun in the middle as a small yellow sphere, with Mars, Venus, Mercury and the Earth outlined in circular indentations – showing the various orbits around the Sun. From the top in an extreme degree of trajectory is a line representing the object. Koso leans forward peering at the computer image.

"Well, an interstellar object just entered our Solar System..." He the studies the computer rendering of the Sun and the Solar System. "...Very fucking rare..." Still looking at the image he then flips back to the raw images, keeping all three images on his screen. "...First time ever, that we have actually have viewed, that is an object to enter our Solar System and left just as quickly."
