Carolina Herrera under creative Director Wes Gordon has delivered a preview into  his Fall 2019 collection via the Carolina Herrera brand. As most of the major fashion houses are tapping the late 1970 and early 1980s sexual indulgence, which on the most part is a welcoming trend to wedge between degrees of conservatism (aesthetics) that attempted (and failed) to creep into Fashion of late.  But, the draw-back is, 70s and 80 excess has been done before.  An indication that global fashion markets have become chaotic with its uncertainty of what trends should be chased. Gordon, has drawn on 1960s modernist styles, which really don't go out of fashion, they hold their own very well. And when mixed with contemporary flavors the styles maintain the ethereal.

Floral themes, overlaid with silk, leather, fine wool, cotton.  Neutral tones, with 1960s modernism.  Clean and defined cuts which accentuates Carolina Herrera's elegance.  Mary Quant inspired mini dresses, long Bohemian flowing skirts and as mentioned, floral designs which encapsulates Carolina Herrera's Fall 2019 collection beautifully, which in turn sets the stage for a serene and appealing collection.
