Art: "Temples of the Locus Aether" (Adrian Glass 2018)

(Concept art for the story Dystopic of the Prodigious from the book THE PRAXIS CONTINUUM)

"The great Locus Aether Masters of yesteryear, issued a decree that one must continuously carry the chains, the weights of existence, the burden of life in all of its bliss and pain.  The metaphor was to add another heavy chain, like a ceremonial necklace around the neck.  After any step further in training.  Is to carry no thoughts of that weight,  control the mind to not be burden by the body.  As the body in turn will not be burdened by the mind.  And at the end of days, you'll feel as though you have no weight on you and the burden of life will dissipate."
