Kiko Kostadinov, who seems to engage popular culture more so movies as an inspiration for his collections.  As mentioned in previous reviews of his shows, there appears to be a growing interest in moving towards costume design, be it more conceptual fashion for movies. At least as a selling point to the many dramas and science fiction shows that lie in wait for post-production approval from Netflix, YouTube Red and Amazon online production companies - in competition with Television networks and Hollywood.

Kostadinov's Fall 2019 collection reveals more of a set piece of promoting costume design and conceptualization rather than a practical runway fashion show.  Which is fine, other designers have created and achieved similar fusions.  Except, Kostadinov seems transfixed on a rigidly themed collection (influences by 1960s American noir thrillers and contemporary Japanese Ghost movies), which in turn has stilted the presentation for his Fall 2019 styles.   A stuffy and unappealing array, that as mentioned works more as a backstory theme for an upcoming movie production, rather than a Men's outwear collection.

As fashion markets begin to tighten, partnerships and/or collaboration with larger conglomerate 'fashion' companies will become more of a trend.  As collaboration also mean survival, Kostadinov continues his ongoing partnership with the sports company Asics
