"The Asynchronous Complex: Graft of Shadows" synopsis and promo card for THE GRAFT OF SHADOWS (Adrian Glass 2019)

The Asynchronous Complex: Graft of Shadows.

Ronan Damyn born and bred in New York City, sits at a local bar, looking to broker a piece of art from a mysterious artist.  Whilst thinking about the strange events that he had recently witnessed.
He never graduated high school, nor went to College or held down a so called respectable job.  Knowing who he is and where he is from, what is taught on the streets will always be real.  That time is short and the trade runs both ways.  The positive and negative end up being the same.  He's now in his late forties, learned from the masters of yesteryear how to sleight the hand, hook a deal and move on to the next. Moving around the city, the only place he has ever known. But, as the years have passed he feels a weariness creep over him. While the past begins to fray and the new seems to be all that's left. Ronan is one of the last street Grifters from a bygone era.
On the eve of an aging Russian mobster about to be released from prison, Ronan is embarking, what maybe his final Grift.  Taught never to plan, but just to set it in place.  He has attained, without bidding, a discarded storage unit.  As the time-lines of coincidence begin to merge, a young woman, seemingly homeless, has appeared in another part of the city. Her only recollection of memory is a single key that she carries.
The Asynchronous Complex: Graft of Shadows, is the fuse of a past and present.  As they, the spectres of yesterday, remain hungry and wander.
