"5 of disks, worry", "The Fool", " 6 of wands. Victory" THOTH TAROT CARD READING/s. These cards were pulled as a triple reading. The Order of the reading is from left to right.
The Minor Arcana card of the Thoth Tarot, is the 'Five of Disks, titled "Worry". One of the more simplified cards, as far as its cryptic artwork and Aleister Crowley's merging of East and West esoterica. However, their is coded astrological symbolism throughout the card, beginning with Mercury above, and Taurus, the sign of the Earth, below. The inverted pentagram which looks like it sits atop of an alter, with outlets of possible molten rock/lava, offer clues to the precarious imbalance the card may represent. Within the Five points of the pentagram are, from left to right, the 5 Tantric (Tattva) elements. They are: Akasha (Spirit) - black egg, Vayu (Air) - blue circle, Tejas (Fire) - red triangle, Prithvi (Earth) - yellow square, Apas (Water) - silver crescent. To which, Crowley acknowledges his 'Golden Dawn' roots, where the Hindu Tantric Tattva colors and meanings were fused onto the Golden Dawn ceremonial Qabalah cross. Except the Tattva has been chosen by Crowley in a particular order over the inversion of a Pentagram shape, that many now equate as a symbol of the devil. For Crowley, it was symbolic of the spirit becoming matter. Which may indicate a ceremonial conjuring
Reading:
You lie on the altar of balance, a mind filled with worry. The inverted Pentagram faces South, where the Taurus resides under the fallen star of Venus. This is the restless Spirit that yearns to become matter again, the black egg, from clockwise, it becomes air, blue circle, crafted in fire, red triangle. To manifest onto the Earth, yellow square. It is then purified by water, silver crescent. Yet, be aware that Mercury lays above, the ruler of the curious and destination of wandering thoughts in the night. To allow a spirit to return, to manifest it into matter may not offer you any reprieve or relay the worry you feel. The conjuring of past spirits from the Earth can be perilous. I would treat this card as a warning, not to disturb or try to manifest Spirits into Matter. They may not help you.
To reverse the conjuring, you may look down on the alter via the antithetical or Left Hand path, from left to right. In the counterclockwise order of the Tattva, you'll return the phantasm back to its Spirit form, and release it.
___
The Fool.
Reading:
Let The Fool in, masculine in sentiment, he is both the antagonist and the joker. The quintessential contrarian, what what is Right is Left and what is Left is Right. The High Court jester and the Devil's advocate, all as one. The Left hand path and the Grapes of Ecstasy are not sinister in design, as it is only balanced with the Right hand of fertility and growth. As the feminine learns from the masculine, as does the masculine learn from the feminine. Both are as two, and will perish as one. And be it that The Fool offers no answers to life, nor questions. Focus on the butterfly, for it was named psyche, watch it swirl around its Universe, living and dying within a moment of time. View the Dove, who patiently follows behind, it will leave peace and tranquility in its wake. And the predators below, the Tiger and Crocodile will offer you fear and apprehension, but also see them as protection. And The Fool will stand detached. Guided by the divine Aleph, the most sacred of the Hebrews. The silent letter, for its greatest trick, you won't see coming. Fooling even the conjurer himself, while The Fool quietly smiles into the emptiness, he is neither mad or sane, for what lies below within the depths, is also above. So, rejoice in his phallic, the golden tips which point towards the heavens, and the flower between, awaits the bliss.
___
6 of Wands "Victory"
Reading:
Do you wish for the autocracy of rule? Stability and its symbolism? Notice how the Three wands and Three adepts are positioned, within the Nine flames, all burning in unison. Order has been established. And the desire for structure completed. The war has ended, as the warring God Jupiter resides over this card. May you revel in Peace Through Destruction. Of a victory at all cost. Is this what you wanted? If so, I must warn you that the Pyrrhic is fleeting. And Empires do fall. Be it that arrogance, will be your final curse. The lust for total victory, in the end, also fails. Order turns to chaos. As the King and Knight must return to the same box. And the forces of nature, will have the last say. Meditate on victory as an ending, not a beginning.
