Chiasmus cult cinema trailers - "Raiders of the Lost Ark" (1981). *These will be ongoing posts, courtesy of the A.Glass DVD collection. As I offer via Chiasmus Cult trailers, my summarized overviews*

Written by George Lucas and Philip Kaufman and directed by Steven Spielberg.  And Harrison Ford's 8th major Hollywood production after the Star Wars (1977) playing Dr Indiana Jones, with the same production team and music direction by John Williams which gave Lucas/Kaufman pulp adventure movie of a maverik archeologist (Harrison Ford) its distinct, and now recognizable, score.  There is no doubt that Raiders of the Lost Ark, for its time, despite it being billed as young teen movie was very much an adult theme production, with enough violence and gore parts, laced with sexual innuendo to make it a benchmark of the 1980s heyday of action movies, unrivaled to this day.   Also note the actress Karen Allen, who played 'Marion Ravenwood', Harrison Ford's sidekick and love interest, appearing as 'Nina' in Kaufman's 1979 teen drama and homage to 1950s youth culture, "The Wanders".
