Ruble crashes, oil surges. Will the West ban Russian oil and gas? How far will this go?

Next economic weapon the West can use, which so far has held off from applying, is a ban on Russian oil and gas exports, more so Russia's oil which is at 70% of total exports into global markets.  A ban would cut off a significant amount of revenue that Russia relies on to fund it's GDP.   This could lead to a major bond default, which in turn would throw the whole country into a brutal economic crisis, their currency would be worthless.  But, we would all feel this too.  Oil, could easily pass $200 a barrel if this would occur; the world would enter a stagflation ice age.

Bad sh$t.

Very bad...

Chart above is the Russian Ruble now worth less than a cent and Brent Crude which is heading towards $120.

F*ck it, what have we learnt?
