cults of the culture wars: benito Mussolini's 1930s Fascism and Corporatism model. Rebranded and reabsorbed into the American Far Right 1990-2000s. (part3)
On August 31st 2026, Michigan Democratic senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed, a Centralist with progressive-Democratic viewpoints, particularly on free medical, and limitations to the corporate, and digital companies connecting to political policy, such as Trump's current Fascist transactional corporatism, was verbally attacked by Far Right Vice President J.D. Vance, not on El-Sayed's domestic policies, but the ideological Left and renewed "Red Scare" paranoia which the Far Right within its Fascist admiration, as discussed, ran as a policy shift with gusto pre World War Two, and then later post, starting from end of the 1940s and well into the1950s, yet quickly rebranding, for obvious reasons, while conjoining American Fascism to Mccarthyism. Vance's attack was astounding, associating El-Sayed, who is a Muslim, with the Far Right conspiracy theory of Islamic "Replacement" of Western nations, re: Vance's extremely prejudicial and racist hysteria on El-Sayed: "People who see themselves not as citizens of a common nation... but see themselves as fighting for one group at the expense of others. And that is how, ladies and gentlemen, you destroy the United States of America." Vance's Far Right decree on so called ideological differences based around race and religion, is not new, in fact the script was written 70 years ago by the Nationalist Conservative (an American sanitized term for a "Fascist") Merwin K. Hart.
The Fascist swap, from Jewish conspiracy theories, to Islamophobia, and the "Great Replacement" racist theory. Merwin K. Hart (1881–1962)
Merwin K. Hart was an American Fascist, whose ghost still haunts the Republican, neoconservative base till this day, evoked many times, like the plethora of pre and post World War Two American Fascists, who were all inspired by pre-Hitler authoritarian leaders such as Francisco Franco and Benito Mussolini, who ran back to back Jewish and anti Communism/Socialism conspiracies, with their rhetorical Far Right conspiracy theory claims of Jewish 'financiers' controlling society to implement a Globalist/Communist takeover to steal Western countries wealth, and destroy it from within. Their ad nauseam closet "Nazi" sentiment had to be toned down after WW2, yet for Hart, the underpinning of White Supremacist overtures were still clear and present, even ramping up the anti-Communist rhetoric and anti Social Democracy to a fever pitch in the 1950s and 1960s, while his "Alien Mind" theory, that non-white and non-Christian races cannot assimilate into the American republic, he would still target Jews, albeit not as directly post WW2 , and even the newly formed State of Israel, which was originally founded under Fascist inspired revisionist Zionism, Hart doubled down on the conspiracy theory that the Holocaust death rate was lower, due most of the Jews were living in America at the time, and now are being financed, by American taxpayers to settle in Israel. Further aligning with his racist and Fascist theories that the Jews, along with Communism, aim to dominate and destroy the West, namely America.
JD Vance, Trumpist Fascism and the xenophobic rebrand.
In 2002 the French 'philosopher' Pierre-André Taguieff, an apparent renown researcher of the National Front of France, and antisemitism, coined a term, which echoed Hart's conspiracy theory laced Socialist combined globalist/Jewish takeover of the Western world, as an ultimate switch, to which the Souverainiste ("Sovereigntism") Taguieff, after viewing 2002 pro-Palestinian protests in Paris, called the protesters, "Islamo-gauchisme" or Islamo-Leftism, even going as far as creating a whitewash term, "The New Judeophobia", further pushing his Sovereigntism conspiracy theory to the extreme, by degentaring the Left as co-conspirators to radical Islamists, beyond the actuality of social groups advocating for the human rights of Palestinians. Thus, Merwin K. Hart's spectra was reanimated by a Far Right leaning 'philosopher' under the same paranoia, and laced hysteria that the Socialists ("Red"), replacing the Jewish conspiracy, are now attached to Islam ("Green").
And as the Far Right begin to rebrand antisemitism and replace it with anti-Islam, they found age old allies, despite shaky alliances with crisscrossing of conspiracy theories, that being the Far Right Zionists. Rebraing that the Left (Socialist) and Islam are a threat to Western Judaic/Christian society, they could form a common bloc, and rewrite the narrative as a populous vote grab via maintaining the same political prejudices against the Left. And in 2003, Roger Cukierman a Far Right Zionist, and vice President of the World Jewish Congress, coined the term "alliance brun-vert-rouge" ("Brown-Green-Red alliance"): Brown meaning Nazi "brownshirts", Green for "Islam" and Red "socialists". Further entrenching this swap from a 'Socialism, Jewish globalist threat' ala Far Right rhetoric of Hart's pre and post WW2 extremism, to Socialism, and Islam joining forces to collapse the West via mass migration. This whole rebranded switch was solidified in 2005 when another Far Right Zionist, Bat Ye'or, penned a book called "Eurabia: The Euro-Arab Axis" with a mishmash of anti Left and anti-Islamic conspiracy theories, that Western countries, presumably Socialist/Democratic originated governments are allowing Muslim countries to gain access to Europe, via mass migration, in exchange for oil, with the underlying premise that it is to takeover Western civilisation. And Europe will be the gateway to all this, via governments wanting to dismantle their heritage, with an influx of Muslim migrants, and eventually become anti-Western.
Vice President JD Vance, under the Trump's Fascist administration, have successfully 'philosemiticaly lauded' the anti-Jewish conspiracy, to which the American Far Right had used in earnest since the 1920s, and like Europe had banked on pre and post WW2, and as mentioned, within their duel rhetorical fixation of Socialism/Marxism/Jews, destroying the West, switching it to the Islamic/Socialist conspiracy theory post 9/11. Fascists are no more than intellectual scavenges and constant rebranders who thrive of populism, and when Vance on the 31st August 2026 at a campaign rally in Sterling Heights, said, "There's something about Abdul El-Sayed that is very, very evil. And on the rise in the United States of America today," we know that their Fascist rebrand and the echo of past prejudices and paranoia, should never be underestimated, and when left unchecked, it becomes further entrenched into policy, such as we are seeing today, throughout the Western world.
