"The Mysterious Stranger" - Mark Twain
This is not a book review, as I haven't read The Mysterious Stranger which was Mark Twain's last and unfinished book complied posthumously after Twain's death. I was looking for Satan quotes for the Dilogy post (refer to Dilogy: Discussion with Satan (part 1)), when I came across some great lines from the greatest antagonist in the history of folk-law and myth - Satan. More so Mark Twain's young Satan (and/or relative of the adult Satan) in The Mysterious Stranger, named No. 44 in the various published versions of the book, when actually the original unfinished publication was referred to as "The Chronicle of Young Satan".
Despite the various written versions of the books, to later be complied into The Mysterious Stranger, there have been movie adaptations. A claymation that only summarizes parts of The Mysterious Stranger and a full length 1982 movie called No. 44, The Mysterious Stranger.
From: No. 44, The Mysterious Stranger (Young Satan) - 1982
From: The Adventures of Mark Twain (1985)
