U.K. is already in a currency crisis. The Sterling has collapsed to its lowest level ever against the U.S. dollar.

The U.K pound sterling has collapsed to the lowest ever at 1.05 against the U.S. Dollar, as money pours into high yield currencies (mostly the inflation hedged US$) with the Euro (EUR) and Sterling being left behind.  All the while their Central Banks are being forced to either trigger a very large % point increase at their next meeting or an emergency meeting to keep the Pound and EUR from collapsing beneath the dollar.  Please refer to this post in relation to England heading into a currency crisis.

The U.K probably is already insolvent as an economy, i.e bankrupt, while trying to spend out of an inflation spiral.

Chart above says it all.
