Moodboard: 55 Crosby St, Soho, Nyc. built 1905-06, Beaux-Arts style, with Moorish gothic revival ornamental fixtures. designed by the New York Edison Company, who owned the building until 1971, architect Frank Gehry apparently expanded the ceilings when he owed/lived in one of the apartments. During the 1970s and 1980s it was filled with artists and creatives living in the lofts. The rent during that time was very inexpensive.
