Bassike for the brand's Fall Ready-to-Wear collection 2019, have offered what also feels like a Resort showing. Free flowing and minimalistic, yet crafted with care in its presentation and obviously on a higher production value than a Resort collection. Blazer and coats trends from 2017 and 2018 are evident as a the main showpieces.  Which I like, as it reinstates the mix and match second hand worn styles that are becoming one of the newer trends for 2019.

Yet, the brand have layered a sleeker more sexy array to their RTW collection, rather than rely on what could be the melding of formal and casual looks intertwining as set pieces (also a trend for 2019).  Business pinstripes, militaristic conservative styles, relaxed with an urban street wise appeal. A tough, resilient and sensual reflection with its fine wools, cotton and linen As though the wearer is a tourist in her own town, checking out the broken city structures whilst admiring the graffiti laden alleyways.

The color palette falls between the starkness of achromatic, mixing in, as mentioned, the military inspired spectrum of grays, camel, browns and dark blues.
