The young brand Brock have been consistently showing elegantly defined styles of bygone era's, reworked into their vision of contemporary set pieces, since there debut studio showing at New York Fashion Week in 2015.  The husband and wife team of Kris Brock and Laura Vasser have focused mostly on modernist styling, to create a solid template via adding Victorian era puffed sleeve shirts and dresses, with inserts of floral and darker Gothic overtures.

For their Pre Fall 2020 collection, they have moved further into the gothic and darker inclinations, showing a more refined and precision styling.   Skillfully layered to ensure its sultry affair, which focuses on specific detailing, whilst offering a definitive and alluring appeal.  Brock have all the hallmarks of couture inspiration, with the quality of styles on display and their limited range.  So It is refreshing to see newer brands cut back on expectations of larger collections, but rather work on the attributes in promoting its distinction.

Flowing ankle length dresses, beautifully fitted hemmed tops, that fuses an interesting mix between the conservative Victorian styles into a Bohemian 'gothic' sensuality.  The collection does not shy away from defining itself within its own eroticism, which holds an charm that is of the modesty, yet also the seductress. The color palette stays fixed between the achromatic of white and black, intermixed with floral prints.
