Simon Miller. Fall 2026 - lookbook
Chelsea Hansford once again, maintains her Pre-Fall 2026 styles, which resemble more of a radiant Cruise collection, rather than end year, colder months for the Northern Hemisphere enesamable. And as noted with Hansford's previous array, it's her projection of the modernist colour spectrum, within its her mid-century fusion of West Coast, Southern California cool, that offers the buyer an aesthetical distinction for the Simon Miller brand. And what Hansford achieves with finesse, is her blending of that hedonic 1970s bohemia, with dashes of the 1980s amorous indulgence for her latest lookbook collection, set within a divine contrast of the said decades, gently melded with her charm.
And why not look at the counterculture years for some hope and hopefully inspiration, which is so solely needed in our current timeline, and we all have to be honest here, of Far Right encroachment into our society, even if politics are left out of fashion, albeit subtly, the rebellious nature is always ever present. Hansford decreed, that it is her "playful luxury" that essentially offers "expression" freedom and "optimism" to dress and feel unrestricted, and that is what the 1960s, and 1970s offered, as we all settled into the 1980s, flowing through the risk of thermonuclear destruction, the graceful rebellious nature, and hedonism, kept the scourge of fascism at bay.
The Fall 2026 collection encaptures Hansford's optimism beautifully, drawing from the 1970s West Coast boho chic element, interfused with, as mentioned, the devil-may-care 1980s sexual freedom. Noted with the the colourful tassels, ankle length pencil skirts, earthy tones, and alluring appeal, evoking all those elements to ensure that this is not a homage, or romanization of bygone eras, but a revamp into how self expression, and desire, when simplified into an eased aesthetic, such as Hansford's collections, recharges the transgenerational connection. And why not?
Yes, its Tequila sunrise cocktails and magnificent sex in the afternoon.
