Book cover art explanations: "Nireus" (A.Glass 2015) and "Paradox of the Locus" (A.Glass 2016).
Nireus was my 2015 short story and I wanted to design a book cover that represented an Extraterrestrial message, which would be so cryptic to the point of being indecipherable. Hence the complexity of the image that reveals something beneath, its not supposed to be a puzzle. It just we, as human begins, have not being able to understand its content.
Paradox of the Locus was my 2016 novel that consisted of three short stories. The image that I designed for the cover was meant to reflect a clearer view of possibilities, as opposed to Nireus's crypticness. So, it is of a positive resolve. Thus the image looks like a cell, being born or evolving into life. Coming into form from its nucleolus. The core, being the 'Locus' as it develops to become part of the 'Paradox', which is very much what life is.
