Excerpt: Cult Gaia. Spring/Summer - lookbook

"Jasmin Larian Hekmat and her label Cult Gaia, return with Hekmat's epicurean styled Spring/Summer 2025 collection to reinvigorate that sweet spot of the late 1970s and early to mid 1980s sensorial aesthetics.  And there is no doubting her love of that Californian bohemian chic and those hedonic 1970s beach and poolside styles.  As her evolving and diverse mix, to which Hekmat has defined so well, clearly has set a standard for her collections to date.  Yet, as noted with her Resort 2023 lookbook, she appears to moving into more avant-garde terrority, whilst reflecting more of the eros of the 1970s.  A trend, which moves in and out of seasons of the last ten years, but still holding the line since it began to firmly imprint itself in 2018, as an open and expressive sexuality, while still trying to gain traction on the runways and lookbooks.  And as mentioned numerous times in my reviews.  Could this be an attempt at setting a course for the next counter culture? Are we at the cusp of a renewed sexual revolution, of sorts?  There is a catch through, you'll have to turn off your phones..."
