Trump sends the nuke powered and armed aircraft carrier USS Nimitz to the Middle East as Israel, Iran war grinds on, with a daily exchange of missile attacks. Trump and Israel seem not interested in a peace deal with Iran, but rather want a regime change.
Trump and Israel seem disinterested in a ceasefire, but rather regime change in iran, by bombing Iran into submission. Didn't work in Lebanon and certainly has not worked in Gaza, sans killing a lot of women and children, including the broad based genocide of the Palestinians living in Gaza. Yet, Trump's foreign policy is based around Peace Through Superior firepower, and his playing it by the book, with little or no opposition.
Trump has sent the nuke powered and armed aircraft carrier USS Nimitz to the Middle East.
However, the oil price will be tricky to keep under $80, which is benchmark to inflation and possible hyperinflation/stagflation if it remains elevated for over 3 months. Hence his predecessor, Joe Biden, asking Israel to limit its strikes on Iran, and restrain its aggression against Lebanon, when Israel premematively attacked both nations in 2022 and 2023. Trump is more Far Right in his military aggression, and of course reliant on his own Republican support, be it the Far Right libertarians, who do not want a war with Iran. How quick can Israel, who is still attacking Gaza after 2 years, be able to overthrow Iran's leadership, when Hezbollah in Lebanon is still present? Despite being weakened by Israel.
Americans/the West, will feel the effects of a protracted war with Iran, if Iran decides to close the Hormuz Strait, which will essential choke off their oil revenue, but spiking the oil price to well over $100, which may prompt Iran's allies, China (net importer of Iranian oil) and Russia to put pressure on Israel, Trump to take a ceasefire deal with Iran.
Oil is bid above $73, with price supports at $72 and $70
