Excerpt: May 27, 2022. HAS THE SOURCE OF THE FAMOUS 1977 WOW! SIGNAL BEING REVEALED? BELIEVED TO HAVE ORIGINATED WITHIN THE CONSTELLATION OF SAGITTARIUS FROM A STAR-LIKE SUN.

"In 1977 whilst listening to radio signals via the now decommissioned Big Ear telescope in Ohio, U.S, astronomer Jerry R. Ehman, famously wrote "WOW!" on a rudimentary computer readout of numbers and letters, circling with a pen"6EQUJ5". Which indicated a signal detected within the lower 1420.4056 megahertz band for hydrogen signals, that as quoted by Ehman:
"Since hydrogen is the most abundant element in the universe, there is good logic in guessing that an intelligent civilization within our Milky Way galaxy desirous of attracting attention to itself might broadcast a strong narrowband beacon signal at or near the frequency of the neutral hydrogen line".
Which means that the WOW! signal pieced through the background noise of the Universe, therefor making in more so a candidate for an intelligent civilization..."
