"Aesthetics of the Pandemonium" from: THE GRAFT OF SHADOWS (A.Glass 2019)

"Feeling relaxed. Exhaling. Opening her eyes Monica sees a figure moving towards her from the
West side of the park, Acheronian and unrecognizable as the sun begins to set behind the silhouette.
She smiles, sipping from the bottle. Placing it down between her feet. “Sitri...”
Standing in front of her, he also smiles.
“May I join you,” Sitri asks as Monica, although trying to restrain her excitement in seeing him,
she nods in a coy way sliding across the park bench allowing the Wraith known as Sitri to sit next to
her.
“Good to see you Sitri,” Monica holds up the bottle as Sitri, takes it, she looks at his left hand,
the well groomed fingernails and fingers. Her eyes narrow, with the desire real for this phantasm.
In a serene way she continues to smile, watching him drink from the bottle.
“Nice,” he hands it back to Monica.
She nods, still looking at him, her admiration and contentment evident as he sits next to her. She
inhales, trying to detect his scent. Which has being allusive even in the dreamlike intimacy, but this
time she registers an aroma. Closing her eyes briefly in a relaxed way, she is reminded of the older
houses, the resonance through smell of history, the ghosts of time."
