Quote: "Satran Kaevon" (A.Glass 2017)

"Caitlin Feldstein nears Satran Kaevon's studio, once again as she did last time, Feldstein looks up at the overcast sky, before entering the ornamented door. As a cold October descends onto the city. She reaches forward and pushes open the large iron door, stepping into Kaevon's art space. Entering the large studio area, she notices that some of the art has been placed onto different walls, the strange sculpture which she admired when she first met Kaevon within this space, remains near the entrance hall that joins onto the larger area.

"Caitlin Feldstein." A voice is heard, she looks around but does not see Kaevon, she turns back facing the sculpture in-front of her – while peering into the sparsely lit room beyond where the sculptural piece stands.

"Does it still interest you?" Kaevon asks, his manner calm and amicable as he stands beside Feldstein, who is neither startled or perturbed by the man next to her.

"I do like it, very hard to describe apart from the fact that it is..." Feldstein turns and looks at Kaevon. "...eye catching."

She stands closer to the crescent style shapes, as one points towards the ceiling, the other inverted. With each of the four tapered ends refined to single sharp peaks.

"What is the metal? It has an incredible gleam," Feldstein asks, as she peers closer at the metallic shapes. Deimos, Kaevon's cat runs towards the open door. Feldstein quickly glances in the direction of the cat, who pauses and sits looking out into the street.

"Will he run off?" She looks at Kaevon, who briefly turns and eyes the black cat sitting, staring out into the unknown.

"No, Deimos won't go further than this studio space..." Kaevon smiles at Feldstein. "...it's not his world beyond here…". He points at the large, and in some places dark interior with its various collections of art and sculptures. "...To answer your first question, regarding this piece and its main composition. It is a mostly composed of Palladium, with an inserted rare Nickel base, that came from..." Kaevon pauses as he remembers the country where a rare meteorite was discovered three hundred years ago. The name of the country is unfamiliar, yet he remembers the name of the country that exists within this Earth. "...Argentina. It is one of my pieces."

"You created this?" Feldstein asks, as she continues to look over the sculpture."
