The Doomsday clock is now 90 seconds to midnight.

In light of ChatGPT making a meal of my discussion regarding the possibility of Nuclear War and the Doomsday Clock, please refer to the conversation here.   I would agree that the AI program does not have or attend to be insightful or offer relevant sociological information to the discussed topics, despite how serious the situation globally in regards to a nuclear war.  Which could occur at any moment and the starting point would be Ukraine and Russia.  Yet, as a channel test I made detailed points prior to the Bulletin of Atomic Scientists 24th January decision, that the Doomsday clock generalized 'symbolism' is more aligned in its definition, in combination with other threats to humanity, that nuclear annihilation is at hand.

NATO sending advanced tanks from the U.K., Germany and the Abrams battle tank from America as a military experiment - devoid of the relevance that we are in a new Cold War, is not only strategically wrong but extremely dangerous of the West's assumption that Russia can be defeated by Ukraine.   This defeat is NATO falling into a trap, which could be argued has been set up by Putin, to join the war against Russia.  That in turn fulfils his paranoid narrative that Russia is under attack by Western interests, hence justifying the use of nuclear weapons.

Peace talks and negotiations, with continued sanctions should be the priority not pumping advanced weapons into Ukraine.  Unfortunately the West is recopying the last Cold War neoconservative framework of feverish arms race to deter Russian influence.
