From the Chiasmus Archive: April 29th, 2013. "ANN DEMEULEMEESTER" Winter 2014 - Paris Fashion Week.

It is great to see designers like Rick Owens, Rad Hourani, Gary Pugh, Y3 (Yohji Yamamoto), new designers like Demobaza, Sharon Wauchob and even some of the bigger houses like Chanel moving back into a stylized, futuristic, goth look.  Testament to fashion reflecting, or more so representing a shock of the new - which is the evolving urban/city scape within our world.   So, seeing the change of clothing, which is a revelation of style that looks stylized in a bleak sense (referring to many mediums) - is actually very refreshing.

I love Ann Demeulemeester's take on dystopian elegance.
