Kachel, from the kitchen shelf, takes down a container, opening the top she picks out a single gel coated tablet. "Confirm and post to ENSAT networks. I'll check details later. Acknowledged received."
"Confirmed and acknowledged, message now posted to Encrypted NanSat networks." "Ok, so have one Neuron Reducer and Pain suppressor meds left, plus..." She tips the the remainder of the contents onto her open palm. "...Vitamin A, Zinc and…" Kachel lifts the small pill up. "...Vitamin D." She then opens the refrigeration unit, taking out a liquid meal replacement, a fortified nutritive drink, clear and gel-like fluid that was used during the last war, a sustainable ration for the populous as global food markets collapsed and trade embargo's occurred. Similar to protein liquid mixes of the past. A bio-meal replacement that was designed to be a complete nutrient requirement for the human body. The bio-nutronic liquid, in its gelatinous form, is pleasant tasting, durable mixture able to last for one month without refrigeration. There are no digestive aftereffects or a weighted feeling. For Isabel Kachel the bio-nutronic meal replacement is sufficient. Taken with her collection of vitamins and mood enhancement and pain suppressors.
