Reading: "Arktalus" from Evenfall of the Helical (A.Glass 2022)

 

Zelac staring at the skyline, cross legged in his mediation position looking at the super massive storm clouds that are gathering, like a massive aphotic rolling wave from the sky, what was left of the morning sky, now begins to diminish as the Climate Change storm clouds ominously gather, known also as C-Storms they begin to form around Arktalus City. Huge climatic fronts which move around the world in a combination of the apocalyptical looking Asperitas and mountainous Cumulonimbus clouds, merging into a single atmospheric phenomenon, to which it was humanity that tipped the Earth's climate into the realms of the severe. Thus, is the legacy of these violent storms.

He stands, walking across to where a bookshelf is, he eyes a bound book, lifting it with his right hand, briefly looking at its title “THE ZENITH DIUS”, he then places it on the palm of his left hand, opening to where the appendix page is, running his right finger down the many chapters and sub sections, stopping at the chapter:

“TIMELINES OF THE CONTINUUM”

Zelac checks the subheading,

“IX. The meditations from Past to Present”

He begins to read a section of the sub-chapter.

“In the Dius, the past has been eroded, the present in its stillness is always moving and the future, nonexistent. We learn through the discipline of meditation, that one cannot enter the ground of past resonation any more than it being a moment in time, yet, we study the past, more specifically the timelines that emerge as echoes of wisdom.”
