  • As opposed to Israel's indiscriminate bombing of Gaza, the fighting between Israel and Hezbollah, who are based in Lebanon on Israel's southern border, has been somewhat more pinpointed, although Lebanese civilians have been killed via Israeli drone and airstrikes.   • Protests in Tel Aviv, after the Israeli army kills three Israeli hostages in a botched raid on a Hamas hideout in Gaza.

  • Turkey's president  Tayyip Erdoğan has said at the Organisation of Islamic cooperation (OIC) committee in Istanbul, that Israeli PM Benjamin Netatahay will be tried as a war criminal over his authorization of extreme force against the Palestinian population after the October 7th Hamas attack on Israel.  With Hezbollah in Lebanon and the Houthi militia in Yemen skirmishing with Israeli forces in an attempt to shift some of the fighting away from Gaza.  Turkey maybe a country to watch, if Erdoğan were to mobilize his army and navy to put pressure on Israel to lessen its ferocity of attacking Gaza and the West Bank.  Via The Guardian

Iran is possibly behind the Hamas strike on Israel.  Israel, as it has done before, will disproportion commit a retaliatory response against the Palestinians.  President Biden has sent a U.S. navy strike force to the region.  It would be prudent to de-escalate the conflict rather than fuel it.  Any 'larger' death toll of Palestinian civilians could set off Iran/Hezbollah to attack Israel.  A full Scale Middle Eastern war could erupt:
