Quote FROM "MACHINES OF THE OCCULTUS" THE GRAFT OF SHADOWS (A. Glass 2019)

"But for Lillias, at an early age it would've been detrimental, the same as sourcing and trying to establish a future. What could have manifested into a state of mind, that if it was not for her father, she may have derailed herself later in life, which in turn, she would have struggled to cope with social situations. Lillias knows that to identify with herself, is not to question it, nor reject or even try and correct the self. As she was taught to improve oneself, can only occur in a signal day, within the bracket of time it, there is one refinement that surpasses all others. To survive. Yet at times, she feels empty. Tired. Small fragments of doubt enter her mind Could there have been an easier way? To be normal? Maybe my past does hold answers. Lillias has another sip of the whiskey, as she looks at some of the other people in the park, remembering what her father told her; not to judge, be angry or resentful towards them. Despite the fact they may not be able to understand and identify with her character. And it will be they who'll judge, simply by their imprint of socialized conformity to anyone who sits outside what is deemed the status quo. Lillias's memories of events of a past are almost void in any recollection, yet she remembers the lessons from her father. She leans back into the pack bench, staring at the oak tree across from her on the other side of the path. With a smile, Lillias closes her eyes.

I need some guidance."
