Robertson nods in an agreeing manner whilst checking the rear view mirror, as he turns onto the right hand lane "...Mortgage and loan fraud are spiking here at the moment, we got a new department that is set up just for investigations. History doesn't repeat..."
"...It rhymes," Forster replies, as he looks up at the skyline seeing a multilevel condominium being built on the outskirts of a Dallas suburb
"You remember that shit hole apartment block, three years back? The one where we got called out to a few times for domestic disputes, drugs..."
"I do, halfway house for Mexican drug dealers and prostitutes."
"That's the one..." Robertson looks briefly at his old friend. "...Our destination."
"I know it's a surprise. But, any hints?" Forster asks, as Robertson turns left into one of the side streets off the main highway.
"Yeah, one. It's earmarked for demolition. Nobody in it, been vacant for six months. Gonna run through a visual scenario with you which occurred over a year and half ago. Here we go..." They pull up along side a derelict apartment block, a security fence has been set up around the perimeter of the disused apartments, yet the front gates are wide open. Robertson drives up into the once open car park of the empty apartment building. Parking the car so that its faces straight in line with the three levels of shared balconies."
